LOOK: Philippine delegation to the enthronement ceremony of Japanese Emperor Naruhito

President Rodrigo Duterte won't go to Japan with a large delegation, his spokesperson said.Duterte left for Japan around 6:30 p.m. to witness the enthronement ceremony of its new emperor on October 22.

The enthronement ceremony will be followed by an emperor's banquet on the same night. On October 23, Duterte will also attend a banquet hosted by Prime Minister Abe Shinzo.A statement from Malacañang said Duterte's participation in the ceremony"demonstrates the importance placed by the Philippines on its long-standing friendship and meaningful relations with Japan."

Duterte's last trip, a five-day visit to Russia early this month, was called by critics as a junket, with a contingent of 16 Cabinet members, a number of legislators, and some 150 businessmen. The Palace said that it will release a list of those who went to Russia with Duterte on the government's budget. On the other hand, the businessmen paid their own way, according to some reports.

That's nice. He's bringing his personal bodyguard.

Only 6? Wow! Bow. Or the other hangers-on taking another plane is on a separate list?

I like this list. None of those pasikat. Sen Bong Go has every right to be there. A trusted all around right hand of Tatay Digong even from the start. Mabuhay ang Pangulo! 🇵🇭 DutertePaRin

d mwala ung julalay na senator.

Kapal ng mukha nitong Go na to. Wala na nga ginawa sa senado, pucha dakilang alalay pa din. Imbes mag trabaho kc pinapasahod ng taumbayan, bwiseeeettt

Ano ba talaga si Bong Go? Nagtatanong lang.

Tangina si Bong Go na naman?

Ah he brought his boyfriend Bong Go ! I was afraid he wouldn't come... Glad taxpayers could afford to bring him too.

I don't understand why Bong Go is always part of the delegation?

Kasama ba yung mga laos na garapatang artista? With all the trashy people he already flew with to Russia, no doubt. 😂 Of course. The hangers-on will always claim they went there on their own (nagkataon/nagkasabay lang) and spent their own money, peks man. Same old refrain.
