Saying that it’s high time for the country to consolidate its lofty position in the world of global shipping, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. extolled Philippine maritime industry players to do more than they have already achieved.

Marcos is also set to meet Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Malacañang on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. In a legislative hearing, National Economic Development Authority Director General Arsenio Balisacan warned that increasing workers’ wages could do more harm than good to society if there is also no increase in economic activity.
