Actress Maritoni Fernandez jetted off to Bangkok, Thailand, to receive the anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia. | RArcadioINQ

Fernandez said that receiving the vaccine was only safe for people who have contracted dengue before, after being asked about the vaccine’s safety. The actress revealed in an earlier post that she had the disease in the past.The Dengvaxia vaccine has been the subject of controversy after its manufacturer, French pharmaceutical group Sanofi Pasteur, released results of its long-term, follow-up study last November 2017.
