Marcos' PFP formalizes alliance with NPC for 2025 elections

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Partido Federal Pilipinas has found a new ally ahead of next year’s midterm elections: the Nationalist People’s Coalition .The two political parties signed an alliance agreement at the Makati Diamond Residences on Saturday evening.“I think it’s very natural for people to think that this is being done for the midterm elections.

When asked if he was interested in making a comeback in the upper chamber, NPC chairperson and former Senate president Vicente Sotto III said that he was “90%” sure about it.“I just want to make sure that I will be capable enough…mabuti na yung naghahanda ,” he told reporters.Sotto added that the party is also considering Senator Lito Lapid and Makati City Mayor Abigail Binay for their senatorial slate.
