The Mandaluyong City Health Department announced that the city has reached a total of 1,018 active COVID-19 cases, with 273 new cases recorded on Saturday, Jan. 8.

The city health department previously recorded 770 active cases on Friday, Jan. 7.

Barangay Harapin ang Bukas recorded zero active cases, while Barangay Pag-asa recorded only two cases. Barangay Addition Hills had the most number of recovered COVID-19 patients at 2,876, followed by Barangay Highway Hills with 2,799 recoveries. The city government reminded anew its residents to isolate themselves in their homes, and contact their respective barangay health centers or COVID-19 hotlines if they have been exposed to the virus or are experiencing symptoms.
