Residents had to use boats to move around the streets.In Baggao, Cagayan, at least two families were evacuated due to a landslide in Barangay Bitag Grande.
Interviewed on Unang Balita, Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando said the local government will declare a state of calamity in the province due to the effects of the inclement weather.Fernando said the release of water from Bustos Dam was one of the factors that contributed to the flooding in the province. Water was released from the usual 300 cubic meters per second to to 737 cubic meters per second.
