LPA, Habagat to bring rain across central-south Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

The LPA was 65 kilometers west-northwest of Masbate City, Masbate at 3 p.m., based on the state weather bureau’s 4 p.m. weather forecast.

The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Habagat.The wind speed forecast for the northern and western sections of Luzon would be moderate to strong from the southwest while coastal waters would be moderate to rough, ranging from 1.2 to 2.8 meters.

The rest of the country would experience light to moderate winds from the southwest to the southeast with light to moderate coastal waters, ranging from 0.6 to 2.1 meters.
