The President left Davao City past 6:30 p.m. Monday for his two-day trip to Japan.

Aside from witnessing the enthronement, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said Duterte, along with other world leaders, are scheduled to attend two banquets during his fourth visit to Japan. Naruhito ascended to the throne in May but his formal enthronement is set on today, Tuesday, October 22.

Aside from Go and Panelo, Duterte’s “lean” delegation is made up of his daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Philippine Ambassador to Japan Jose Laurel V, Special Envoy to Japan Feliciano “Sonny” Belmonte, and Chief of Presidential Protocol, and Presidential Assistant on Foreign Affairs Robert Borje /gsg

DJEsguerraINQ former? senator? highly debatable.

Kainis.

DJEsguerraINQ Current aide.

DJEsguerraINQ he’s not “former” aid. aliping sagigilid parin sya.

DJEsguerraINQ Ok Bonggo. The only reason why Digong was invited is not because Japan likes his politics and governance. They just dont want to severe the good relationship they worked so hard to rebuild (and should do more) after WW2 no matter how despicable you and your boss are. Gets mo?!

DJEsguerraINQ Maybe media ought to drop 'former' from aide since it appears to still be his fulltime job. The Senate gig is a sideline.

DJEsguerraINQ Hanep na title. Former aide, Senator. Make it Former aide now turned Senator cum muchacha

DJEsguerraINQ Apparently Bong Go remains the personal assistant or utusan of the President. The only difference now is he should be addressed as Senator and he gets higher salary, perks that comes with the position and PARLIAMENTARY IMMUNITY FROM SUIT. Bong Go still smells the same: 🐂💨

DJEsguerraINQ Former Aide? For a guy who spent the most campaign funds to be a senator only to keep being the Special Asungot to the President (SAP) 💩💩💩

Duterte to bring 'lean' delegation to JapanPresidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo says President Rodrigo Duterte will not bring a lot of government officials with him on his current trip to Japan. Kasama ba yung mga laos na garapatang artista? With all the trashy people he already flew with to Russia, no doubt. 😂 Of course. The hangers-on will always claim they went there on their own (nagkataon/nagkasabay lang) and spent their own money, peks man. Same old refrain.
