— Water concessionaires in Metro Manila and nearby areas have announced updated lists of water service interruptions in the wake of the continuous depletion of water supply from the region’s main source.
Angat Dam, Metro Manila’s main source for water, breached the critical mark of 160 meters on Saturday. As of Monday morning its water level was at 159.04 meters. This led to further reduction of water allocation by the National Water Resources Board from 40 cubic meters per second to 36 cms. Water concessionaire Manila Water caters to about six million consumers in the east zone of metro Manila, and Rizal Province.https://www.facebook.com/manilawater/posts/2082976018480404?__xts__[0]=68.
