In response to what Panelo claimed, LFS national spokesperson Kara Taggaoa said the Duterte regime cannot fix the transportation crisis since it does not give the problem any priority inasmuch as the government does not champion basic social services.
She explained that even before the LRT-2 system conked out, commuters have been suffering daily from the rotten system of mass transportation. Citing it as social injustice, the LFS said the government has not even allocated money for new rolling stock for the Philippine National Railways , which is preferred by those commuting to Laguna.
