MANILA - Las Piñas City has lifted the ban on the sale and consumption of liquor and other alcoholic drinks after over a month of enforcing it.

In a city ordinance announced Wednesday, only distributors, whole-sellers, grocery stores, sari-sari store, convenience stores "and the like" will be allowed to sell liquor in Las Piñas.Residents can only consume liquor "within" their homes, provided they are "legitimate members of the household," according to the ordinance.
