MANILA—Mandaluyong on Tuesday lifted a liquor ban, joining other cities that have again allowed the purchase of alcoholic drinks under the modified enhanced community quarantine.

The ordinance allowing the sale and delivery of wines, beers and “and other intoxicating beverages” was signed by Mayor Carmelita Abalos, Vice-Mayor Antonio de los Santos Suva and all of the city's councilors.— jeff hernaez May 19, 2020

Officials said that, although such drinks may be bought and sold, physical distancing should still be observed when consuming it.As of Tuesday, at least 4 cities in Metro Manila have lifted their liquor ban. — With a report from Jeffrey Hernaez, ABS-CBN News
