MANILA - Sen.

Lito Lapid on Tuesday pushed for the "mandatory reimbursement" of canceled food and grocery orders to spare delivery personnel from spending on items that will not be paid by those who ordered it.

Under Lapid's Senate Bill No. 1677, customers who cancel orders at least thrice a month may be jailed up to 6 months and may be fined up to P100,000 for "unjustified cancellations of confirmed orders."
