In a Facebook post, Huang shared photos of Duterte at the embassy where she visited the photo wall of China-Philippines friendship. Jiang, who led China for a decade of rapid economic growth after the Tiananmen crackdown in 1989, died in his home city of Shanghai last Wednesday of leukaemia and multiple organ failure, Xinhua news agency said.The Vice President described the late Chinese as a “visionary leader who dedicated his life and work to his country and people.”
According to Huang, the “outstanding contributions and effective governance” of the late president led to “China’s economic transformation and deeper engagement with the broader international community.”
