Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso sacked nine ranking Manila police officers, including three senior officials, for allegedly extorting money from illegal vendors in Binondo.

The relieved officers from Station 11 were Lt. Col. Antonietto Eric Mendoza, Maj. Robinson Maranion, Maj. Alden Panganiban, Cpt. Jerry Garces, Cpt. Bernardino Venturina, Cpt. Manuel Calleja, Lt. Jerry Campo, Lt. Maricel Pili, and Lt. Maribel Casayuran. “Saan ka nakakita, utusan ng chairman ay colonel, major, PCP Commander. Either na hindi nila nakikita o wala silang ginagawa. I will not act without evidence,” he added.
