R.A. 10066, or the Philippine Heritage Act of 2009 was s

igned by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Mar. 26, 2010 in hopes of broader protection for our local historical sites. Under this law, the government and pertinent cultural and historical agencies are supposed to “conserve, develop, promote and popularize the nation’s historical and cultural heritage and resources, as well as artistic creations.
