The members of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases are in agreement that employers can’t fire their unvaccinated workers or impose vaccination as pre-requisite for employment.
Guevarra said: “I emphasized that ‘the COVID-19 Vaccination Program Act of 2021’ was clear on the non-compulsory nature of vaccination as an additional requirement for employment.”He recalled that during the meeting, no IATF member expressed “any different or contrary position.”
I vehemently disagree with the IATF. This twisted logic: 1 Compelling guests of enclosed establishments to be vaccinated YET 2 Staff serving them ARE NOT?!!!! Tawag dyan, Bubble with Exemptions!!
What the members of IATF are saying is that, mas mabuti pa mahawaan ang mga kasama ng isang mangggagawa na hindi bakunado kaysa itiwalag sa trabaho dahil labag sa batas. Kung may magkasakit problema na ng mahawaan.
