House Secretary General Reginald Velasco said in a statement on Tuesday that the House took down its website after it detected 'suspicious and unusual activities'.
'This action has been taken as a precautionary measure to double-check and reinforce the cybersecurity measures we have undertaken, ensuring no vulnerabilities remain,' Velasco said on Tuesday.On Sunday, the House informed the public that the website experienced unauthorized access.It announced on Monday that the website was restored.'Our aim is to identify and prosecute those responsible for this breach to the fullest extent of the law', Velasco said in his Monday statement.
