Coach Yeng Guiao is excited for what the future holds for Rain or Shine particularly its young guns following the team’s stint in the 2023 William Jones Cup in Chinese Taipei.

Rain or Shine Yeng Guiao is optimistic of his young stalwarts following their stint in the Jones Cup. Although it wasn’t as successful in terms of wins, the trip is fruitful for the development of the team as far as Guiao was concerned.

“Natutuwa doon sa mga bata, sina Santi , sina Mamu , sina Andrei, Anton , si Mac Belo, na bago pa lang nakasali sa'min pero makikita mo na buo 'yung loob niya pagkadating,” he added. That sign of maturity and poise was evident in Rain or Shine’s 116-91 victory over Japan U22 team as the Filipino dribblers battled back from a 21-point deficit in the opening frame.
