To help graduating learners transition to a work environment, the Department of Education conducted a nationwide pre-employment training attended by teachers and Grade 12 students.

Titled “Building an Impactful Resume and Professional Brand,” the webinar was held on June 1. The training was conducted virtually by the agency’s Office of the Undersecretary for Administration and in partnership with Microsoft Philippines and the Employers Confederation of the Philippines . DepEd said that the webinar garnered a total of 143,950 registrants nationwide, with 13,759 participants from Region 7; 13,754 from Region 6; and 13,494 from Region 3.

More to come Meanwhile, Pascua said that the project is the “commencement of more programs” that his strand will develop to help graduating learners shape their professional skills to be globally competitive in the workplace.
