Arceli Nucos is now awake but he family has yet to talk to her, said her brother, Reynaldo Nucos. Their younger sister, Arlyn, perished in the accident outside Lucky Plaza shopping mall that is popular with Filipinos."Sa awa ng Diyos conscious na siya. Di namin pwedeng kausapin, mahigpit din dun," Nucos said, referring to his sister, Arceli.
The remains of Arlyn Nucos were repatriated on Wednesday evening. The wake will be held in their home in Caba town, La Union on Jan. 12, the brother said. The remains of the second Filipina casualty, Abigail Leste, will be flown home Thursday, according to the Philippine embassy in Singapore."Lagi silang tumutulong bukod sa amin, sa mga pamangkin, mga kaibigan, sa mga pinsan," he said.
The siblings were hanging out at Lucky Plaza when they were hit by a car driven by an unnamed 64-year-old on Sunday.
