Former Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmena has tested positive for COVID-19.

Osmena confirmed in a Facebook post that he is experiencing mild symptoms.

“Please do not be worried, I will be fine. Pulse Oximeter is reading 97-98, and other than the mild chills, I’m feeling ok. No other symptoms,” he added. He previously filed his certificate of candidacy for congressman in the city’s south district but later backed out.
