Former Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmena has tested positive for COVID-19.

Osmena confirmed in a Facebook post that he is experiencing mild symptoms.“It is my responsibility in the interest of transparency to inform you that I felt mild chills this morning and just tested positive for COVID,” Osmena wrote.The former mayor added that “no one else in the household has tested positive.”
“So I will be isolating myself in a separate room until doctors tell me it is safe to do otherwise. We are in touch with the people I have come into recent contact with as well,” he said.“Please do not be worried, I will be fine. Pulse Oximeter is reading 97-98, and other than the mild chills, I’m feeling ok. No other symptoms,” he added.Read more: Manila Bulletin News »
