Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano expressed optimism that major business players will increase their investments in the city with the facilitation of her policy on Ease of Making Investment (EMI).

Calixto-Rubiano is hopeful that business will start to flow in the coming days through EMI. The EMI was modeled after the Ease of Doing Business Act or Republic Act 11032 of which she was one of the principal authors during her stint as the city’s lone representative in Congress.

“Lahat ng kakailanganin, nasa isang opisina na lang kaya kung kumpleto ang mga dokumento, agad makukuha ang permit,” Calixto-Rubiano said. Calixto- Rubiano added that the city government under her leadership is also implementing necessary measures for efficient traffic management to facilitate the movement of goods and people, which are essential to businesses.
