Duterte: Be careful, learn to live with COVID-19

Watch more on iWantTFC President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday said Filipinos should "learn to live" with COVID-19, cases of which have recently hit record-highs.

"Just be careful kasi talagang marami na akong kakilala na natamay. Sa probinsya ko, mga kababata ko, nauubos na," the President said at a Palace event. "Be careful really. This COVID is a, that is the, ‘yan ang binigay ng I don’t know if it’s God, ‘yan ang binigay ng—every generation has a calamity like this. It is how you live with it. It will be here for the longest time, so learn to live with it," he added. Government will pilot new restrictions in Metro Manila from Sept. 16 to arrest the uptick in cases and spur business activity.
