With the rising number of coronavirus cases, the government’s pandemic task force has “provisionally” approved the guidelines on the pilot implementation of the new alert levels system in the National Capital Region that will be implemented from September 16 to 30, 2021.
Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque made the statement after Metro Manila was placed under the modified enhanced community quarantine until September 15 despite anthat the region will shift back to the general community quarantine from September 8 until the end of the month. According to Roque, areas placed under GCQ with alert levels shall follow the protocols consistent with their category. Details are still being ironed out.
“Ang policy shift ay nagnanais na manatiling bukas ang mga industriya sa GCQ, maliban sa mga nasa Level 4 ,” he said.
