Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade met with Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Menardo Guevarra to discuss how to address immigration issues in the airports.

The secretaries further suggested the establishment of additional e-gates and to make sure that all immigration counters are manned.“Dapat walang mag-break kung maraming taong nakapila. Bayan ho ang nakasalalay dito. The immigration booths should never be unmanned. Let us collaborate. Let us work with each other. What is at stake here is the image of our country. Dapat walang MIAA, walang Immigration. Iisang gobyerno tayo. Hindi dapat turuan. Dapat tulungan,” Secretary Tugade said.
