THE Department of Health-Center for Health Development in Calabarzon aims to reach the 50-percent first booster dose coverage among pediatric group and the first booster for 12 years and above.

“Before the year ends, we are hoping that more people would want to come and avail the Covid-19 vaccines. In this campaign, we are targeting the young ones aged 5-11 years and the first booster for 12 years old and above,” DOH Calabarzon Assistant Regional Director Leda M. Hernandez said. “Ito na ang magsisilbing pamasko natin sa kanila, gawing mas ligtas ang bawat isa sa darating na pasko,” Hernandez added. [This will serve as our Christmas gift; to have a healthier Christmas for each one.]

The said campaign aims to increase the coverage for the country’s fully immunized children , recorded to have been critically low during the Covid-19 pandemic.
