Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos says the new drug war under the Marcos administration will be 'pro-life' and 'it will all be legal.'

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of the Interior and Local Government on Friday, October 7, launched its anti-drug program aimed at addressing the root causes of illegal drug use in the Philippines through demand reduction and rehabilitation.

“However, in order to truly triumph over the drug menace, we must face the truth: our current approach is not enough. Law enforcement is merely one part of the equation, and the current President himself has reiterated many times the need to refocus our efforts to better serve the people,” she added., but the focus would be more on prevention and rehabilitation rather than law enforcement.

“I will say that it’s pro-life. It is looking through the eyes of what it should really be, and not in the negative side of dark days of drugs. It should be like that,” he said.definitely it will be based on our oath in accordance with the Constitution. It will all be legal.”

So saan nakafocus yung previous program nila? Shutabesh!

Really!?

But will be implemented by the same people from the previous bloody war on drugs?

Ayaw pang sabihin na pro-death at illegal ang kay DuTAE.

This administration should rejoin the Rome Statute of the ICC to show its sincerity on their resolve to conduct its drug war in a legal and pro-life manner... mere promises will not hold water! The people demands accountability!

So u mean the last administration was not legal?

'Will be pro-life and all be legal' is it a testament that the prev. drug war under Dutertaning are really based on illegal thoughts of Dutertaning itself and is non- pro life?

🔥Wars are expensive. 🔥Wars are violent. 🔥Wars always have innocent collateral victims. Perhaps legalization and treatment is a more humane and reasonable answer. Drug use is largely a poverty issue. If the state solves poverty issues, then people won't feel hopeless.

Ay hala... ngayon 'pro-life' at 'it will all be legal'... e ano yung dati?!
