THE Department of the Interior and Local Government released an image of the suspect in the killing of broadcast journalist Percival Mabasa, along with a call for him to surrender.Mabasa or more popularly known as Percy Lapid of DWBL 1242 station was shot dead by two unidentified suspects along Aria St. Sta. Cecilia Village, Talon Dos in Las Piñas City on Monday.In a press briefing in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City on Friday, Interior Secretary Bejamin 'Benhur' Abalos Jr.
warned the 'person of interest' that hiding will do him more harm as those who masterminded the killing would possibly tend to get rid of him as well.Abalos said the Philippine National Police's Anti-Cybercrime Group , Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and National Bureau of Investigation are investigating the killing.He also expressed his condolences to Mabasa's family.The suspects fled onboard a motorbike and black Toyota Innova with plate number NGS 8294.
