The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) turned over on Feb. 12 a P28 million road project to the city government of Bogo in Cebu province to help connect the residents of five barangays to the metropolis.

Under the Tulay ng Pangulo para sa Kaunlarang Pang-Agraryo project implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways , the 28.80-linear meter Malingin Bridge will now connect the city to the five barangays, namely Malingin, Anonang Norte, Anonang Sur, Lapaz, and Binabag.

“Every time we finish a project, we always remind the beneficiaries to take care of it. We know that it will contribute significantly to the development of the communities,” Cruz said. These are the Nagkahiusang Mag-uuma/Mamumuo para sa Repormang Agraryo, Hacienda Filomena ARB Association, Anonang Norte ARB Association, and Anonang Norte Farmers Association.
