Students who wish to apply for a financial grant or assistance from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) can now submit the requirements for the processing of the application for academic year (AY) 2020-2021.

According to CHED, 2,467 slots are available under the Commission’s Scholarship Program for incoming college students whose general weighted average is 90 percent or higher or its equivalent.

To avail of the financial assistance, students should enroll in any of the priority courses identified by CHED in the fields of science, technology, engineering, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, mathematics, business process outsourcing, and tourism. Each scholar enrolled in the program can avail of the cash grant, ranging from P20,000 to P60,000 per academic year.
