MANILA - Philippine budget carrier Cebu Pacific said Saturday it would cancel all flights to mainland China amid the outbreak of the new coronavirus.

"In light of developments related to the Novel Coronavirus, Cebu Pacific will be cancelling all flights between the Philippines and mainland China from Feb. 2 to March 29, 2020," the Gokongwei-led airline said in a statement.

"Passengers affected by flight cancellations have been notified through the contact details provided upon booking. They may also check the status of their flights through the Manage Booking portal in the Cebu Pacific website," the airline said. "We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank our passengers for their understanding," the airline said.
