Can Ivermectin really cure coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)?

Food and Drug Administration Director General Eric Domingo said although there are claims of people being cured, there is not enough evidence on this.

“There are many ongoing clinical trials around the world and we are waiting for the results,” added Domingo.

meanwhile, FDA gave MERCK an approval to develop MK7110 an anti covid drug. FDA, big pharma wanted a new drug, with their own patents and are not considering cheap, no patent, repurposed drugs like ivermectin.
