The 25-year old boxer from Parañaque was supposed to battle Japanese fighter Junto Nakatani for the vacant World Boxing Organization flyweight title in Tokyo on April 4. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire world has been on lockdown.
“Sa boxing naman, puwede ka mag-train ng mag-isa.” Magramo said. “Mag-adjust ka rin kasi iba rin ’yung sparring.” In the meantime, he also works on his defense, counterpunching and avoiding crushing punches just like his idol Julio Cesar Chavez whose fight record stands at 107-2-6.
