TAGBILARAN CITY – Bohol governor Arthur Yap asked the public for continued vigilance against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) as he inspected the Tagbilaran Port and Bohol Panglao International Airport and urged port authorities to sustain strong monitoring of tourist arrivals.

In a telephone conversation with Health Secretary Francisco Duque, Yap clarified that the Taiwan travel ban has already been lifted. He emphasized that there were six other countries with higher confirmed infection cases than Taiwan.
