The warning came after Belmonte issued notices of violation against several Philippine offshore gaming operators hubs based in Eastwood City in Libis following a surprise inspection.
The surprise inspections were conducted to ensure that POGO centers operating in the city are complying with local requirements and ancillary clearances for business. These POGO hubs have been given a 15-day grace period to comply with the business permit requirements of Quezon City. POGO establishments, for their part, welcomed the chance to get their businesses in order, and promised to comply with the needed requirements.
