The suspects namely Jeremiah Obedencia Moya; Leji Wensdy Ofecio Quibuyen; John Lloyd Garciano Sumagang; Harold Joshua Sagaral Flauta; John Steven Baltazar Silvosa; Ramel John Potenciano Gamo; Gilbert Escodero Asoy, Jr; and Roseller Andres Gaentano, who are also students of UM, are currently detained at Mandug Police Station and are facing charges of violating the Anti-Hazing Law.
“Ang kanang academic institutions, they strongly discourage, kabalo man sila ana no one wants it actually. Kaning magparticipate sa inyuhang muapil mamatay. Kabalo ang mga eskwelahan ana, walay eskwelahan na gusto ana pero ang problema dinha sa mga estudyante gyud,” he said.
