It's been a week since ConcernedApe released the much anticipated 1.6 update to Stardew Valley, and we're all still discovering new things.The update hit PCs on March 20 and is set to roll out on consoles and mobile "as soon as possible."Here are some of the fun new stuff that players are having a ball with:1. New farm typeThe biggest thing in the update is no doubt the Meadowlands Farm, a new farm type that offers a whole new gaming experience.

Players can now also unearth new seeds every season — carrots for spring, squash for summer, broccoli for fall, powdermelon for winter.Yes, you can now plant things outside in winter!5. Artisan goods have different looksPrayers were answered when ConcernedApe made changes to the aesthetics of certain artisan goods.Jelly, pickles, wine, and juices — produced via preserves jars and kegs — are now colored based on the ingredients used to make them.Additionally, players can now drink mayonnaise.
