GEN. LUNA, Quezon - About 400 patients composed of children, adults, and senior citizens were given medical and pastoral services by Independent Volunteers Monitoring Covid Care (IVMCC) during a medical mission on Sunday, March 19, at San Isidro National High School in Barangay San Isidro in this town.

The medical mission was in partnership with the local government unit headed by mayor Matt Erwin Florido and the Rotary Club Metro Lucena.

Laica Marquez, daughter of former Bondoc Peninsula Rep. Bienvenido Marquez, and Linda Marquez organized the Bayanihang Pangkalusugan mission for the residents of the said village and nearby villages for residents in need of medical attention. The beneficiaries were also given free medicines. The Manila-based doctors, including dermatologists, cardiologists, pediatricians, internal medicines, and nurses took part in the medical mission.

Residents are thankful that their village was chosen for the medical mission with the help of Mayor Florido, while the Rotary Club Metro Lucena contributed P100,000 worth of medicines.
