‘3Pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon’ review: Toxic cinema

3POL TROBOL. Coco Martin stars in the movie which he is also the director. Screenshots from YouTube/Coco Martin PHIt seems harmless. After all, with its reimagining of Martin as another selfless hero who is up against corrupt and powerful men, it's really just an overblown version of Martin’s never-ending television show. It shouldn’t be too bad. If it has a glaring fault, it should just be the fact that it is a blatant cash grab.

PALOMA. Coco also brings back another famous character he did in 'Ang Probinsyano' in the movie – Paloma.The least Martin could have done is to exert a bit more effort and creativity in crafting his obnoxiously clueless flick. Sadly, everything feels shoddy and makeshift. The film looks horrendous with its unfocused visuals, its haphazard editing and its absolute lack of any real design. It feels like it was made in a hurry, in between shoots of Martin’s daily television show.

Between him, Sotto and Vice, they continue to insult the nation’s intelligence with their low quality movies. They should use at least their popularity in giving movie goers decent movie, with decent acting

Kahit ano pa bigay nilang dahilan, justification, di pa rin talaga maipagkakaila na yung brand ng humor/comedy nila Vic, Vice, at yes, isama na rin si Coco, para lang humatak ng tao, napatawa nga sila, pero wala talagang kwenta. Sure, in the end, they laugh their way 2d bank.

Most comedy films in PH are trash especially tatak Vice, Vic o Coco. MMFF2019 Maybe coz theyre not offering something new. Well, tons are fooled so they won. But still, their films are trash. 🚮
