Various activities and exhibits were organized at the 2019 Regional Science and Technology Week at the Iloilo Convention Center to provide participants with a great experience as well as more information on science and technology.

The Innovation Challenge or iChallenge is a way of identifying areas where innovation can address development constraints in Western Visayas. It is a “reverse pitching” platform where stakeholders can bring out real-life problems that need innovative and technological solutions from potential partners or solution providers.Each will follow a four-stage process that includes pitching, reaction, interaction, and team up and synthesis.

Among the activities identified are the following: Seminar-Workshop on the 21st Century Learning Environment Model; Indie Siyensa, a filmmaking launching, and workshop; nuLab, STEM in Motion Mobile Learning Facility; Mini Robotics Workshop and Competition and Mobile Planetarium.The Innovation Lounge highlighted talks and learnings on how science, technology, and innovation to contribute to our nation’s progress and in effect change the lives of the people.
