MANILA — Star Magic’s first Halloween ball, Black Magic, had fans seeing double Sunday night as some Kapamilya artists ended up channeling the same characters as they walked the black carpet.
Popular picks were Doctor Strange and Spider-Man, with three gentlemen each garbed as the Marvel superhero. Similarly ubiquitous were takes on Joker, whose signature clown makeup was worn by at least three Star Magic talents. Other characters or personalities who had “double” appearances at Black Magic included Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Sailor Moon, Beetlejuice, Star-Lord, Thomas Shelby, Marilyn Monroe, and the robbers from “Money Heist.
