– The bodies of two fishermen from Gigmoto town, who were reported missing at the height of typhoon Quinta on Monday, were found dead 11 a.m., Tueday, October 27.

The bodies of two fishermen from Gigmoto town, who were reported missing at the height of typhoon Quinta on Monday, were found dead 11 a.m., Tueday, October 27. Bato town Chief of Police Capt. Ariel Buraga said the bodies of Romeo S Torillos, and Jomar De La Concepción, both from Gigmoto, Catanduanes, were recovered on the shores of Sacahon Beach in Barangay Bote, Bato town in the same province.According to the record of the Emergency Operating Center of Catanduanes, six more fishermen – three from Gigmoto and three from Panganiban – were missing.

The Philippine Coast Guard in Catanduanes has been conducting search and rescue operations ever since the fishermen were reported missing.
