All families in Manila to receive Christmas food packs from LGU

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso assured that all of the 650,000 families in the capital city will receive Christmas food packs so that no one will go hungry on Christmas Day.

In a directorial meeting between city government officials on Monday, Domagoso said they have already started the process of buying goods for the Christmas food packs. “We have started acquiring Christmas packs. Protect it, keep it safe. Hindi pa ito kumpleto pero tayo ay preparado na ,” he said. “Kahit papaano sa Pasko may mapagharimunan sila because 50 percent of that load is dedicated for Christmas, at least mayroon silang spaghetti, macaroni… mababawasan ang gutom ng mga taga-lungsod. Hindi magarbo, pero may mapapagharimunan ,” he added.

Senior citizens will also get additional food packs and five kilos of black or red rice from Mindanao.
