A truck driver and his helper died on the spot after their vehicle crashed into a brick wall of a parking area in Barangay Sta Cruz, Guiguinto, Bulacan on Tuesday, Oct. 26.
S/Sgt. Marven Adriano of the Guiguinto police station identified the victims as Elmer Atarejos Delfin, 38, driver, married; and Wendell Andaya Abria, 19, helper, single, both of Barangay Borol 1st, Balagtas, Bulacan. Initial investigation disclosed that the victims were onboard a truck bearing the license plate number WHM-571, and traveling northbound along MacArthur highway when their vehicle had an engine brake malfunction causing it to lose control.
