The Provincial Health Office (PHO) in Bulacan reported on Tuesday, Oct. 26, that active COVID-19 cases in the province are on a decline.

Of the 821 remaining active cases, 85 or 10 percent are admitted in the hospitals, 196 in Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities, while 540 or 66 percent are under home isolation. The PHO also said it logged 103 new cases, bringing the overall COVID-19 cases to 82,698. A total of 80,481 or 97 percent have recovered, with 134 new recoveries recorded on Tuesday.

There were two new deaths, bringing the total number of COVID-19 fatalities in the province to 1,396. The highest reported active cases are in the municipalities of San Ildefonso and Marilao, and in the City of Meycauayan.
