Presidency has clarified why President Muhammadu Buhari visited Lagos on 9th December, 2021. It said while in the state, the president launched a made-

Shehu said the president surveyed and inaugurated a naval helicopter that will join the new vessels in scouting for and countering piracy that impedes security and trade.“While in Lagos, the president also graced the launch of an autobiography by Bisi Akande – a leader who played a crucial role in keeping democratic opposition to military rule alive, and later a critical place in the development and ultimate unity of that opposition to create today’s APC.

“But, of course, those in the PDP who have nothing positive or new to add to the debate about the future of the nation seek to trivialise the President’s Lagos visit: they choose to ignore the crucial launch of the naval vessels; they suggest the primary reason for going to Lagos was to attend a book launch.

“Should the president not have launched the naval ships the day after that attack? Should he listen to the PDP who feign concern for those affected by banditry when they did nothing to combat it for decades – not on land or at sea? It is noted they have not criticised the president for boosting the country’s seaborne defence capacity. Instead, they only manage to make the attack personal.

Electoral bill: Buhari to make decision known to NASS soon – PresidencyAmid heightened anxiety over the decision of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on the Electoral Act amendment bill, the Presidency said on Saturday evening that the President would make his decision known soon. The problem with 🇳🇬 has never been about any laws or system but Nigerians. I do NOT care about this bill and NOTHING will ever achieve the desired result in 🇳🇬 until Nigerians change their ways, adopt a humane, sane, godly, moral compass first. No law or system can make itself Can you imagine after months pass by the impostor Man Buhari to make decisions known to NASS on Electoral bill, but when comes to borrowing monthly loans recklessly there's nothing like decisions it's proceed straight to the sanate president for rubber stamp and that's all Buhari is a beneficiary of election rigging & shouldn't be shy to tell Nigerians how opposed he is to electoral reforms to rid the system of rigging. He's more predisposed to election rigging regime after the order of Hope Uzodinma & as done for him in Kano in 2015.
