Ahead of his election in 2015, Buhari promised to defeat Boko Haram but six years into his government, that promise has not been fulfilled.

President Muhammadu Buhari will visit Maiduguri on Thursday, on an official visit to Borno State, SaharaReporters has gathered. The state has been at the end of incessant deadly attacks by terrorist groups–Boko Haram and the Islamic State West African Province , therefore, many of its residents have grown frustrated with the Buhari government.

In February 2020, residents of the state booed the President as his convoy drove in and when it was leaving Maiduguri, Borno State, during a condolence visit. The residents were heard shouting in Hausa “Bama so, ka samu a kunya,” meaning, “We don’t want you, because you have disappointed us.”

Electoral bill: Buhari to make decision known to NASS soon – PresidencyAmid heightened anxiety over the decision of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on the Electoral Act amendment bill, the Presidency said on Saturday evening that the President would make his decision known soon. The problem with 🇳🇬 has never been about any laws or system but Nigerians. I do NOT care about this bill and NOTHING will ever achieve the desired result in 🇳🇬 until Nigerians change their ways, adopt a humane, sane, godly, moral compass first. No law or system can make itself Can you imagine after months pass by the impostor Man Buhari to make decisions known to NASS on Electoral bill, but when comes to borrowing monthly loans recklessly there's nothing like decisions it's proceed straight to the sanate president for rubber stamp and that's all Buhari is a beneficiary of election rigging & shouldn't be shy to tell Nigerians how opposed he is to electoral reforms to rid the system of rigging. He's more predisposed to election rigging regime after the order of Hope Uzodinma & as done for him in Kano in 2015.
