The Minister maintained that the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) will continue to collect VAT following the ruling of the Court of Appeal on the matter

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami says the Nigerian government is considering suing the governments of Rivers and Lagos at the Supreme Court to end the Value Added Tax war.

“And we are taking steps to consider the possibility of instituting an action before the Supreme Court for the purpose of having this matter determined once and for all,’’ Malami said. Is there any State in Nigeria that do not have resources to manage her affairs? This mindset of Center collecting, sharing to and receiving by States should change. It is counter-productive and does not encourage growth, development and accountability.

Don't do anything to win the VAT war against Rivers and Lagos States. Instead, encourage the parasitic States to become creative and contribute to the commonwealth.

What is the Attorney General of the Nigeria Doing in New York? Shouldn't he be coordinating the fight against case brought by Lagos and Rivers State in Abuja? Perhaps if they eliminate waste like his travel to New York, Nigeria would not need to Borrow from China again!!

Use Tanko technicality

This is why they rejected restructuring GovWike

After d southern ethnic driven activists went on a war with d north regarding VAT ,it turns out everyone was getting more than what they were contributing ,Africa economy is based on helping each region ,if we were wealthy ,we will not b collecting loans ,helping is a strategy
