Imo State governor, Hope Uzodimma, has requested the establishment of at least one Air Force Secondary School in the state.

This was disclosed, yesterday, in a statement signed by Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser, Oguwike Nwachuku.

He made the request when he received in audience senior officers of Air Force Ground Training Command, Enugu, led by the Air Officer Commanding, Air Vice Marshal Frank Oparah, who paid him a courtesy visit at Government House, Owerri.Uzodimma acknowledged the critical role the Air Force played at the peak of insecurity in Nigeria and Imo State, especially in stemming the tide of insurgency.

The governor also called on the Air Force to urgently equip their already existing Medical Centre in Imo State, so that both their personnel and the people of Imo State will have access to the health facility.
